The Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank believes that all of us: babies, children and adults deserve to be clean and dry.
Meet Our Board
Pat Kennedy, President/Founder
Pat grew up in Michigan, and in 1985 moved to Pennsylvania with her husband and two daughters. She graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in education and taught kindergarten and first grade at Newtown Friends School. It was there she learned to… help a friend.
Dermot Kennedy, Vice President
Dermot, a native of Ireland, is an attorney admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan, the U.S Tax Court and a number of Federal Courts. Dermot has represented several non-profit entities and served on the Board of Trustees or as an officer of others.
Elizabeth Chierici, Secretary
Beth also grew up in Michigan and moved to New Jersey in 1981 to attend law school. After graduation, she remained in New Jersey to raise her family and is a partner in a law firm located in Moorestown, NJ. Like the other board members, she hopes that The Diaper Bank can help close the gap left by state and federal assistance programs.
David Johnson, Treasurer
David grew up in the D.C. Metro area and graduated from the College of William and Mary before settling with his family in Arlington, Virginia. A Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Virginia, David works with numerous not-for-profit organizations as well as public and private for profit entities. As a father with a young family, David recognizes the need to provide clean diapers to all children.
