Like diapers, period supplies are an unmet basic need. One in four menstruators have struggled to purchase period supplies in the past year due to lack of income. One in five low-income women reports missing work, school or similar events due to a lack of access to period products. Without education or the ability to get a job, families are forced deeper into poverty.

We believe every menstruator deserves to participate fully in their daily lives. No one should have to miss work or school due to a lack of hygiene products.

In 2021, the Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank distributed 472,000 period products to 61 partners in Philadelphia and beyond.
